A VICTORIAN THREE PIECE SILVER TEA SERVICE, London 1858, mark of Thomas Smiley, comprising teapot, sugar bowl and creamer, of baluster form, with cartouche to each side, surrounded by profusely chased and embossed floral and foliate decoration, the teapot with hinged lid and surmounted with finial in the form of an eagle, each with acanthus wrapped c-scroll handles, raised on acanthus leaf capped scroll feet (c.1461g).
