of slope-front design with hinged cover and brass handles on each side, enclosing a fitted interior lined with red velvet and graduating cutlery slots, including silver king's pattern flatware, London 1770-1, maker's mark of Thomas & William Chawner, engraved with family crest and motto 'MEEN SUCKER REAGUE', raised on three paw feet, 32cm high, 19.7cm wide
